Social attitudes towards professional work of the 55+ generation. Comparative analysis of Poland, the Czech Republic, and Hungary

The aim of the paper is to diagnose social attitudes towards professional work 55+ generation Poland, Czech Republic and Hungary. analysis based on research carried out in Katowice, Ostrava Debrecen among 55-65 age group. was conducted April – June 2019. resulting discussion concerns cognitive, affective behavioural work. Three national groups are compared. findings indicate that taking into account all components overall attitude, it Poles who achieve highest value a positive attitude work, then Hungarians, finally Czechs. demonstrate consistent with individual displaying similar results. Czechs exhibit an inconsistent attitude. achieved by component lowest - one. Hungarians also show cognitive achieves same values as Republic, however, very low high. In Conclusions, author shows economic activity influenced objective factors, particular state policy field obtaining retirement rights employment opportunities.
